Accounts Receivable Associate
Remote Position
Pay Range $50k to $65k
Do you have experience in Accounts Receivable and want to be part of a company helping to make a difference in individuals’ lives? In the Accounts Receivable Associate Role, you will be an important part in our commitment to serve others by providing AR support, analysis, and assistance with the preparation of value-added financial recommendations.
Liaison with operations and other functions on accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliation issues
Review weekly collection activity and set collection priorities
Analyze monthly accounts receivable balances and make recommendations for bad debt reserves; prepare data and analysis to support the valuation of accounts receivable and adequacy of reserves
Prepare and analyze monthly sales adjustment reports
Review setup in billing system to ensure accuracy and analyze revenue reports
Facilitate monthly close activities and quarter/year-end audits of accounts receivable
Maintain an effective control environment for accounting operations
Serve as advisor on billing software and billing system
Responsible for new and ongoing Avatar (our client information network and billing/AR system) setups/updates
Qualifications:
High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance (or other related field) preferred
Experience in healthcare or accounts receivable
Understanding of accounts receivable and general ledger in accordance with GAAP
Knowledge of Excel, Oracle, Avatar; some states may have state-specific software billing requirements
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality in everything you do
Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate banking services
Skillful data analysis, critical thinking, and strong financial acumen
